Yes this makes sense to me, but let’s wait to hear what the rest of the membership and the EC say about this issue. One thing I know – the use of the word race is almost always problematic in venues like this. There are always differences of opinion. I am all for using terms that are inclusive, and also, that don’t offend or are not relevant to any groups of people. It is important to move cautiously, especially because this code will be in effect, once approved, for at least another ten years
