The University of Nebraska at Kearney seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in School Psychology for the NASP and ISPA accredited Ed.S. program beginning August, 2016. Primary responsibilities include teaching Ed.S. level school psychology courses within the Counseling and School Psychology Department in the College of Education at UNK. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to teach graduate level assessment, consultation, intervention, and research courses within a scientist-practitioner program model. Additional responsibilities include directing and serving on Ed.S. scholarly study committees; preparing research for peer-reviewed publication and presentation; and providing service to the department, college, university, and professional organizations.

An earned doctorate in school psychology from a NASP or NASP/APA accredited school by August, 2016 is required. Candidates must show evidence of scholarly accomplishment, have clinical experience in the field of school psychology, show commitment to diversity and social justice and be eligible for NCSP and Nebraska Department of Education School Psychologist certification.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant and successful graduate teaching experience; evidence of teaching and mentoring graduate student research; and those with refereed publications. Preference will also be given to candidates with expertise and/or experience in RtI Model implementation, globalization of school psychology services, and school-based mental health service delivery. Experience with distance learning, online course delivery methods and experience working with diverse student populations is also preferred.
