Vítor Coelho is the new ISPA President-Elect
As the ISPA membership is aware, the election for ISPA President was held between February 1 and 19, 2017. Thank you to the 59% of the membership that voted. This was a good participation rate though, of course, we will continue to work for even wider participation in our next elections.
The results for the two candidates were as follows: Vítor Coelho obtained the majority of the vote (62%), and will thus be ISPA President Elect from July 2017 to July 2019, and President from July 2019 to July 2021.
Congratulations, Vítor, on your election, and best wishes for your continued participation, leadership and decision-making in the next six years, particularly during your Presidential term in 2019-2021. Thank you also to Sally Baas for enhancing this election and for the work for ISPA which you have conducted thus far. We look forward to your continuing work close to the ISPA leadership!
